MEZOGRIN SC - systemic post-emergence selective herbicide of the triketone group for the control of annual and perennial broad-leaved and annual cereal weeds on corn crops.
• MECHANISM OF ACTION:
MEZOGRIN SC- penetrates the weeds through the leaves and roots, spreading to the top, blocks the synthesis of carotenoids, which in a very short time (1-2 days) leads to the stoppage of the growth of weeds, followed by loss of color and necrosis of the leaves. Complete death of weeds is observed in 1-2 weeks.

• RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
The effective application of MEZOGREEN SC is promoted by the period of intensive weed growth and the absence of precipitation and dew. Rainfall occurring no earlier than 1 hour after application does not reduce the product’s effectiveness.
It is not recommended to perform inter-row cultivation or treat crops with insecticides based on carbamates or organophosphorus compounds within 7 days before and 7 days after herbicide application. In cases where weeds are stressed due to drought, flooding, or extreme temperatures (too low or too high), the protective effect of the product may be reduced. MEZOGREEN SC can be used alone.
It is compatible in tank mixtures with the herbicides D-CAMBA SL, BINDSTRIKE EC, HIKA WG, HIKA PLUS WG, ONYX SL, and PANTHEON WG.
Crop rotation after application: winter wheat and winter rapeseed can be sown the same year provided deep plowing is performed; the following spring, soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower, sugar beets, beans, and peas may be sown, but only if the application rate has not exceeded the minimum – 0.15 L/ha.
Application is not recommended if the air temperature one day before treatment was below +5°C or above +28°C.
For enhanced effectiveness, it is recommended to add 5 L/ha of UAN (urea-ammonium nitrate solution) or ammonium sulfate.
