NIKA PLUS WG - two-component systemic herbicide to kill perennial and annual grass and dicotyledonous weeds in maize crops.
• MECHANISM OF ACTION
NIKA PLUS WG - blocks enzyme atsetolaktatsyntazu that is essential for the synthesis of essential amino acids. Absorbed leaf surface of weeds and moved to the points of growth (cell division stops). Typical signs of herbicide: anthocyanin coloration, chlorosis, necrosis occur 3-10 days. The final death occurs within 14-30 days.

• APPLICATION METHODS
The optimal temperature range for applying NIKA PLUS WG is between +15°C and +25°C. Application is not recommended if temperatures drop to +6°C or if there is a sharp temperature fluctuation. The use of the product is prohibited on sweet corn, popping corn, and parental inbred lines. If replanting is required after treatment, only corn should be sown again on the same field. Do not apply the herbicide when the crop is wet from rain or dew.For maximum herbicidal efficacy, the product must be applied together with a surfactant: either ESCORT at 0.2 L per 100 L of spray solution, or ESCORT BIO at 0.5 L per 100 L of spray solution. If weeds have overgrown beyond the recommended stage, it is advisable to add ammonium nitrate or urea at 4–5 kg/ha (actual weight) to the spray solution.
