SOYGUARD WG – post-emergence systemic selective herbicide from the sulfonylurea group for effective control of broadleaf and grass weeds in soybean crops. Due to the high concentration of the active ingredient, it is a unique product on the plant protection market in Ukraine.
• MECHANISM OF ACTION
SOYGUARD WG, is rapidly absorbed through the leaves of target weeds and translocated to the growing points of roots and stems. It inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is essential for the biosynthesis of the branched-chain amino acids leucine and valine. As a result, cell division and weed development are halted. Visible symptoms appear within 3–5 days of application, with leaf chlorosis and complete weed death occurring within 1–3 weeks.

• ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT
low application rate
provides partial control of grass weeds
halts further weed growth within a few hours after application
provides protection throughout the entire growing season
excellent cost-to-performance ratio
• PRODUCT is supplied in a convenient, reliable, and cost-effective container that has been tested for pressure resistance and mechanical stress during transportation and storage. The container comes with a measuring cap, making it very easy to use.
• PACKAGE - can 500 G
• APPLICATION METHODS
The optimal application temperature for the product ranges from +10°C to +27°C (not lower than +5°C) under calm, windless conditions.
The product should be applied to moderately moist soil. Rainfall or soil irrigation 1–3 days after application enhances the treatment's effectiveness. Application is not recommended on soybean crops under stress due to cold, heat, drought, mechanical damage, or waterlogging from heavy rains, as well as when weed foliage is wet with dew. Do not apply on soils with a pH above 7. The product is effective in tank mixtures with the herbicides HARMONIC WG; BENTAGRAN SL; PIKET SL, but a compatibility test is required in each specific case.
Tank mixing with organophosphorus insecticides is not recommended.
Crop rotation recommendations:
- Soybean – no restrictions
- After 3 months – winter cereals
- In spring – cereal crops, peas, maize
- After 1 year – sunflower, rapeseed
- After 2 years – vegetables
