• SOYGUARD GOLD SL – a post-emergence selective herbicide from the nitrophenol group designed for effective control of broadleaf weeds in soybean crops.

• MECHANISM OF ACTION:

SOYGUARD GOLD SL, is rapidly and easily absorbed through the leaves and roots of weeds. It disrupts energy transformation processes within the plant, inhibits photosynthetic electron transport and the synthesis of carotenoids, chlorophyll, and proteins. It stimulates the metabolism of stress-related compounds such as phenylpropanoids and phytoalexins, and destroys the cell membrane. The weed leaves first lose their color, then develop yellow, brown, and black spots, wilt, and dry out. Full plant death occurs within 3–4 days.

• APPLICATION METHODS

Soil temperature should be no lower than +15°C, and air temperature should range between +20–30°C. Air humidity should be at least 65%, with a maximum allowable wind speed of up to 5 m/s. If possible, apply in the evening, as the herbicidal activity of the active ingredient increases at night. Full coverage of weed foliage enhances the contact action of the product. Do not apply the product if the plants are under stress or have moisture residue on the surface. To broaden the spectrum of weed control, it is effective to use in tank mix with BENTAGRAN SL, herbicide. Do not mix with organophosphates or micronutrient fertilizers.For enhanced efficacy, it is recommended to use with ESCORT OIL adjuvant at a rate of 0.4 L/ha.
