DUO QUATTRO D EC, – a systemic post-emergence herbicide for the control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in winter wheat and corn crops.
• MECHANISM OF ACTION:
The active substance disrupts the biosynthesis of structural and enzymatic proteins, leading to the inhibition of the plant's metabolic processes. It penetrates the plant through the above-ground parts (mainly through the leaves) and actively moves throughout the plant, accumulating in young meristematic tissues of the leaves, stems, and roots. Due to the accelerated growth of tissues in the upper parts of the leaves, stems, and petioles, deformation occurs, along with thickening of the vascular tissues, which leads to increased tension in the cell walls. As a result, shoots and roots crack, nutrient uptake is reduced, and the synthetic activity of the root system is halted. Water balance is disrupted, and turgor pressure is lost.

• APPLICATION METHODS
Duo Quattro D EC, EC should be applied at ambient temperatures from +8°C.
It can be used in regions with low precipitation levels. The application should be carried out during the active growth phase of weeds: at the 2–10 leaf stage for annual weeds and 15–20 cm in height (rosette stage) for perennial weeds*. To enhance herbicidal activity, the product may be used in tank mixtures with other herbicides commonly applied in cereal crops.
It is also compatible for use in tank mixes with fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, and liquid fertilizers.
The selection of components for tank mixtures should be targeted, taking into account the species composition and weed density in the crops.When preparing herbicide tank mixtures, a preliminary compatibility test should be carried out in a small container. It is recommended to use in combination with:
FLAME PLUS SC, D-CAMBA SL, NIKA WG, NIKA PLUS WG.
Attention! Application beyond the recommended timing may result in sterile heads (head blanking).
