METAGREEN EC – a systemic post-emergence herbicide for controlling annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, providing guaranteed suppression of field horsetail (Equisetum arvense) in maize crops with an effectiveness of approximately 97%.
• MECHANISM OF ACTION
METAGREEN EC is absorbed mainly through the foliage of weeds and quickly translocated throughout the plant, including underground growth points.
It acts as a synthetic auxin analog: its elevated concentration induces uncontrolled growth and disrupts key biochemical processes in the weed, ultimately leading to plant death

• ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT
the product provides superior control of horsetail species compared to other herbicides
rapid visual effects can be observed within 3–4 hours after application
effectively controls volunteer rapeseed and sunflower, including ALS inhibitor–resistant biotypes
ensures reliable control of perennial broadleaf weeds, including highly problematic species such as field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis), various thistle species (Cirsium spp.), wild lettuce (Lactuca spp.), leafy spurge (Euphorbia esula), and others
РRODUCT is available in a convenient and reliable canister that has been tested for durability on the pressure and mechanical stress, which occurred during transportation and storage. Inside the canister contained ftoryste special coating that provides guaranteed protection environment.

• APPLICATION METHODS
METAGREEN EC should be applied to actively growing weeds at temperatures between +12°C and +25°C, and under conditions with no rainfall for at least 2 hours after application. Do not apply if frost is expected!Enhanced corn growth, which is often observed after treatment, may lead to reduced stalk strength and increased risk of lodging. Therefore, no mechanical field operations are recommended for at least 10 days after application. On high-yielding maize hybrids grown under intensive conditions, especially when favorable weather follows a prolonged cool period (e.g., sudden warming), and if the product is applied at higher rates and at later growth stages (BBCH 15 or later), some auxin-type herbicide symptoms may appear. These include abnormal leaf growth, changes in aerial root shape or size, and other visible effects typical of auxinic herbicides.
Such symptoms are generally temporary, even if widespread, and do not affect crop yield. In the event of these symptoms, do not apply anti-stress agents, growth stimulants, or foliar fertilizers for at least two weeks after treatment.Tank mix use is recommended with the following products:
FLAME PLUS SC, D-CAMBA SL, NIKA WG, NIKA PLUS WG.
