• TERRAMIN EC, is a modern, highly effective soil-applied systemic herbicide used to control a wide range of annual broadleaf and grass weeds in soybean and sunflower crops. Pendimethalin, the active ingredient, has been widely used globally on most vegetable crops and many field crops.
• MECHANISM OF ACTION
Pendimethalin is absorbed by the roots and shoots of germinating weeds and inhibits cell division in the meristem. In monocot seedlings, the herbicide is absorbed through the initial roots, while in dicots it enters through the emerging hypocotyl loop. The product accumulates in the growth points of the root meristem, forming stable bonds with plant tissue proteins and halting DNA synthesis, thus preventing cell division and causing seedling death. Weeds are killed shortly after germination or emergence. Young weeds that have already emerged before application also die.TERRAMIN EC affects even less sensitive plants, but only when grass weeds are in the 1–1.5 leaf stage, and broadleaf weeds are at the 2 true leaf stage or earlier.

• ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT:
does not require immediate soil incorporation or inter-row cultivation
provides a prolonged residual effect
versatile – one product for multiple crops
broad spectrum of control among soil-applied herbicides
gentle on the crop
no residual impact on rotational crops

• PACKAGING - jerrycan 20 L
• APPLICATION METHODS
Application of TERRAMIN EC, is best carried out in calm weather, preferably in the morning. This ensures the effective action of the product. When applied correctly, pendimethalin distributes evenly within the seed layer of the soil within two days, forming a barrier against weed growth. The herbicide becomes active at the moment weed seeds begin to germinate. The soil must be well-prepared. The application rate of the product depends on the soil’s mechanical composition and humus content. The highest application rate is recommended for soils with high organic matter, hot weather conditions, and a likelihood of rainfall. To determine the optimal dosage, the weed species present must also be considered, as they have varying sensitivity to the herbicide. The working solution should be used immediately after preparation. The re-entry interval for manual labor is 7 days, and for mechanized operations — 3 days. The pre-harvest interval (days before crop harvest) is 25 days.
Working solution application rate: 200–400 L/ha.
