PREPARATIVE FORM: EMULSION CONCENTRATE (EC)

KARATEL EC – an insecticide for controlling pests (including mites) in sugar beet, rapeseed, and wheat crops. The product is also widely used for disinfestation of grain storage facilities and warehouse areas.

• MECHANISM OF ACTION

KARATEL EC is a highly effective broad-spectrum insecticide with acaricidal activity.
It acts on sodium channels in the membranes of nerve cells in pests, causing irreversible activation, membrane depolarization, and nerve conduction blockage. It has contact and stomach action and also exhibits repellent properties.

• APPLICATION METHODS

Do not apply the insecticide when ambient temperatures are +25°C or higher. For control of cotton bollworm and European corn borer, it is recommended to use in tank mixture with DRAGOON EC. Compatible with most herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers; however, a compatibility test is recommended in each specific case.To prevent resistance development, alternate the use of KARATEL EC with insecticides from different chemical classes. In rapeseed, it can be applied alone or in combination with ALPHAZOL SL ; THIAPRIDE SC, to enhance the knockdown effect against winter cutworm, crucifer flea beetle, rapeseed pollen beetle, and other pests.
